Description: This workshop will go over detailed risk management topics related to agritourism businesses. The topic of investigating insurance and transfer of liability risk on the farm will be presented as well as looking at safety on the farm. Agritourism activity budgets will be presented along with financial risk managment strategies. Right to Farm issues and regulatory protections will be discussed that deal with safety requirements and nuisance complaints. Lastly a farmer panel will discuss how they handle agritourim customers on their farms.
