|Description:||Family and Community Health Sciences, a part of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, is presenting Canning Tomatoes 101 on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 310 Milltown Rd., Bridgewater at 6:30 pm. Join Daryl Minch, Family and Consumer Science Educator and learn how to can tomatoes in glass jars using boiling water. Learn about equipment and proper techniques and learn why safety is critical. Participants will can a jar of tomatoes to take home.
