|Description:||– If you haven’t canned for a while or have never canned before, Family & Community Health Sciences (FCHS) invites you to attend its Home Preservation: Canning in Glass Jars: (Cranberry Sauce) Workshop on Thursday, November 15th at 6:30 pm-8:30 pm or Friday, November 16th at 10 am -11:30 pm at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Office, 310 Milltown Road in Bridgewater. Learn the basics of home canning in jars – safety, equipment selection and procedures. Participants will make and can cranberry sauce. Bring a small box (about 4 inches by 4 inches or larger) to bring home the hot jar. Register for this workshop by Wednesday, November 1, 2018. Cost is $5 per person. Pre-registration is required.
