Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge Wildlife Drive
|Description:||From November 10 through December 9,2020, travel to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge Wildlife Drive and try to spot migratory bird species along the 8-mile Wildlife Drive. This refuge protects more than 47,000 acres of southern New Jersey and is home to thousands of migratory birds this winter. Spend an afternoon on the Wildlife Drive and see if you can spot some of these species: Great Blue Heron, Atlantic Brant, Canada Goose, Northern Pintail, Gadwall, Pied Billed Grebe, Great Egret, Snow Goose, Mallard Duck, Northern Shoveler, American Black Duck, and the Green-winged Teal.
The Refuge is located at 800 Great Creek Road, Galloway, NJ 08205.
