Description:
When working with environmentally sensitive sites in New Jersey, a full understanding of the NJDEP’s ecological evaluation process is critical. In this online class, experts in the evaluation of the environmental impacts related to hazardous waste sites will review ecological evaluation and risk principles and then walk participants through New Jersey’s ecological evaluation process (including updates based on the revised guidance) using real case studies. Students will learn how elements such as baseline, bioavailability, and risk management can assist in addressing potential ecological risks at their sites.
